    Hey all,

Need a bit of help here - my built 2000 taco was recently in an accident (no frame damage, panel damage and bent lower control arm) and I am worried that Progressive is going to try and total my car. Hoping to pull together a case for it being worth signficantly more than the bs KBB cash value but I need examples of similarly built tacos and their prices.

    Build sheet:

    Xtra cab
    5 speed manual
    TRD supercharger
    2.5 inch icon lift
    Factory rear e locker
    Engine bay air compressor
Ditch lights and front light bar
Icon delta joint upper control arm
    Tube bumpers front and rear
    Tube rocksliders
Armor plating on t case and trans
    12k winch
    Cargo rack with canopy
    Rear topper with roof tent
Procomp Sim beadlock wheels with BFG ko2 33s

If anyone has links to similar trucks they are selling or recently sold please post em - need some ammo for the war I'm anticipating having with insurance here.

If the aftermarket upgrades are done more than three years ago, they're calculated to have depreciated to $0 by insurance. Find a few listings of clean stock 1st gens of similar mileage - your truck will not be worth more than that in the eyes of the insurance co.

    Depending on state
You get $1k for AM add on’s
If you didn’t have extra coverage for the same. That’s if you’re repairing

when insurance company runs the ACV of your vehicle, they click add ons
Rims/campers/tint/headache rack etc are typically listed
However, lots of parts are not listed, so adjuster doesn’t add value
    Some examples of these are
    TRD SC/lift kit/winch

ins will add these but you have to elevate to supervisor

The biggest problem here is the salvage value of our trucks
Typically (especially if it runs/drives thru auction line) tacos will fetch 45-50% the ACV of the truck
Makes it VERY easy to total out

    what state?
    Pix of dmg?
