I mean there aren’t too many better zombie hunting tools than a chainsaw and this one is one handed with the M18 power. So much more powerful than the m12.

    :anonymous:still haven’t bought it.

I feel that a prunning chainsaw would be the worse for zombies cause of how close you'd have to get, regular style chainsaw at least puts them a foot away, pool saw would be even better for distance but a heavy duty brush cutter would probably be less likely to get gummed up.

Definitely a close quarters weapon for sure. I recently cleaned up a dropped tree in the road and used my pole saw for limbing it. I had to set it down to grab branches and such. Because of the design and balance, the chain wanted to dip and hit the road every time I tried so I just set it down instead of chancing dinging or scraping the chain on the road. I got the hackzall and it’s the bees knees but it ain’t no chainsaw. Plus I wanted one since I saw it

Yep, they yanked the M18 1/2" impact wrench, 2 batteries and charger sale for 299 off their website that I posted a short while back. They still have the charger and 2 batteries for 299 though.

I use my Sawzall with the Diablo Pruning Blades to prune Mesquite Bushes, It works better then a regular Chain Saw with a new Chain. The Diablo Blades keep cutting where the new Chain gets dull on the Hard Mesquite.

Hardest wood we got out west here is maple. What eats the chains though is the cottonwood. Massive trees that suck up hundreds of gallons of water and soil with it. Look at the dirt ring on this guy.

    upload_2025-8-28_6-0-19.jpgupload_2025-8-28_6-0-46.jpgDirty wood for sure

Not tools but the Milwaukee work pants are amazeballs. Switched from Dickies to Milwaukee. The quality is great, they soften up way faster than Dickies. Good phone pocket on the right thigh. Leatherman or knife pocket on the left belt line.

Come in a warm muddy brown and gray. Wish they had black.

    $38ish.

Ordered some gloves last night from Home Depot. Mind you I always buy stuff in person.

After an hour or so, I got a message about Doordash as being the 3rd party that'll deliver one set; never knew this was a thing.

About 40mins later I got a message saying that my Home Depot order was cancelled only to go online and see that I got partially refunded?

I can order again but I only had two options and it was delivery or pick up and obviously I chose delivery cause it was free.

    Anyone experience this?

Edit: Home Depot says they have no idea how it got cancelled and shows nothing on their end

I guess a Door Dasher picked it up and cancelled it shortly after?

probably some un-closed loophole that door-dashers can pick up stuff from HD for delivery, cancel before delivering, and get to keep the item to re-sell on marketplace.

Had considered that (I know people steal food and all) but the delivery was scheduled for today (28th).

The order was cancelled yesterday (27th) 40 mins after placing the order and Home Depot said it was just shown as cancelled, nothing was picked up cause it wasn't placed in their outgoing. She said if the order was live, the gloves would've been physically placed in que today for pick up today.

Do you think someone picked up the order, and saw it had no tip so they cancelled?

Most of the time when I see an unknown cancellation from a local store they didn’t actually have the product. Basically stock shows as 3 or whatever, employee can’t find it, updates the in stock to 0 cause some stole all of them and the system cancels your order

Are the gloves in stock anymore?

Store said item wasn't even pulled as it would've been pulled this morning

Nothing at all on their end, see it as it was received on their end as "order cancelled"

They have a ton in stock so I'll just buy some in person when I head out there

Just didn't plan to go anywhere today since I've got parts to cut and others to weld

Just made myself this table extension I need to weld up
