Hah, spin it around enough and lock it up like a Subaru CVT...

Hmm, that was a little oddly specific...

Where I live planting a flower just about requires heavy equipment, rocks & rocks everywhere -- unless you happen to want to drive, then there is mud. :frusty:

I'm too old to be doing things with a pick & shovel anymore.
That is both  & :pout: depending on how I look at it.

I've been studying these for close to 2 years now. There are many "direct from manufacturer" brands out there but with no post sale dealer support. I view those lower cost machines as projects, if something fails you have to figure out the parts on your own.

I just want to dig holes, I have enough project equipment.
The Kymron brand seems to be growing well and has dealers with parts in stock, this machine has a 2 year warranty too.

This is the dealer I went to, a very nice young fellow.

I have read that was an "industrial prank" pulled on new operators along the lines of "go to the boiler room and ask for a bucket of steam".

    Thank you.

I thought of you yesterday, I saw a brand new fire truck, going for delivery probably as it didn't have any lettering on it yet.

Called an ortho doctor Monday and got an appointment for September 10th to have the fluid drawn off my knee. (45 minutes from the house)

Called another place this morning and they got me an appointment for September 5th. (30 minutes from the house)

Called a 3rd place this morning and they got me an appointment for this Friday. (1 hour 51 minutes from the house)

If I can walk this weekend, I don't mind driving for 2 hours one way to have it done so I can get off these crutches.

I was going to start on our sidewalk this week, that has been put on hold.

Hopefully you won't dig up any colored tree roots like I have with the backhoe I had on my previous skidsteer :anonymous:

    Nice traditional red color too.

I was sitting in a parking lot and almost got a photo - either he was too fast driving or I was to slow with the phone. :(

When I was young the town had American LaFrance trucks like this:

    TFD0340e.jpg

They didn't have mufflers is seems, you could hear them from a mile away. Portable radios were very expensive back then so not many of the responders had them, they could tell exactly where the truck was just by listening.

Back when I was in the FD we had several fire trucks but we had two 1970's something Fords, like this photo. 1 was gas, 1 was diesel. Both were really slow. I was driving the diesel one back from a call one day and something started slapping the floor board. Didn't take long to figure out what it was, no power steering cause the belt broke.
