True. My dad was an absentee idiot with bad money skills. I used that as motivation to be good with money and try to do something better than working in a factory like he did.

I use to envy factory workers. Only dealing with traffic for a commute.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I was going to say I'd drive to you and do them for $450. Just did mine a couple of weeks ago. It's not a terrible job. Passenger bank is real easy to get to. Driver's side, it's easier to do by pulling the intake plenum. Still, it took me less than 3 hours for my first time.

Ya no. I make $70k a year and pay $1500 a month in rent.

    I am not rich lol

Anyone who doesn’t do their own work apparently is a wealthy out of touch snob I guess.

Growing Bananas was hobby of mine back in the 80s-90s... At that time, there were over 300 varieties named and here in Southern California, we had about 50 of them among us banana growers. Today, there is easily two or three times that many. I think I may have had 20 varieties at one time? As a member of the California Rare Fruit Growers https://crfg.org/ , I submitted articles on them and became the 'banana expert' for a short time. General banana info: https://crfg.org/homepage/library/fruitfacts/banana/

With 761 reviews, and 4.9 avg, I really wasn't expecting them to be the most expensive of the bunch, but here we are! $200 more than the dealer.

I think it speaks to the number of mechanics (techs?) that are out there... or maybe the amount of desire they have to work on a car... or maybe even how busy they are. Sometimes I get the feeling it's that "they think they deserve" your money.

I’m 50/50 with this guy. I like his style and most substance but he has been against some good aftermarket stuff

I agree with you. Look at a vehicle repair as replacing a hard drive in a laptop, you have to remove a lot of stuff to get to the part you want to replace. BTW what gauge do you model trains? I am an O gauge fan but I am in the process of selling off i no longer use.

Good morning. Time for a walk then a shake for breakfast. Another busy morning for me.
