Need wiring help for Alternator

    The 4 awg crimp connector that I got seems to perfectly fit the stock alternator wire (snug fit but not too tight or loose). Will 4 awg be large enough for this alternator? At 130 amps it is still the same as the stock alternator that I took out.

    AWG 4 is physically larger, and has a higher ampacity rating than AWG 6. The cable length is less than 3 feet, but the circuit (out and back) is over 6 feet.

    I began my post above with "I believe" - which is another way of saying that I was not sure. I was quoting from memory (which isn't what it was).
