You're correct...not sure that upright saw is what you're looking for to cut steel. With the right lade it would cut 1/4" aluminum all day, but you're better off with something else for steel

i've got a grizzly portable metal bandsaw (plug-in) that came with a "table" to mount it to. for my amount of use for it, it's perfect. :)

We have this saw at work and I have one at home as well, it stands up as a bandsaw and does well. The only problem is the blade is 1" and you can't make tight turns with whatever you're sawing.

Good morning shop crew :hattip: Have a great Friday and Labor Day weekend!

Rusty bought his mini excavator and I was playing on a mini skid steer yesterday. He’s right, they make hard work fun.

The hf Hurcules portable band saw is legit. I hardly use my corded Milwaukee version any more.

The battery last a very long time.

I've been eyeing the saw base, just haven't pulled the trigger yet.

    One day older and smarter.

I went to Midlothian Va the "quick way" according to the GPS.

    Quick way my @$$

For the trip home I took I 64 west to Stauton and picked up 81 N.

One hill was so long & steep I had to shift to third gear - with 5500 pound behind me.

Now here is a smart idea - you always need a flat surface whan cooking.

If it's that old and hasn't done that by now, you're probably good. 2011+ got the FB series engines that aren't known for head gaskets.
