What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Dang, yeah that’s what I assumed. I looked into going that route originally, but decided against it. I’m going to run them along the frame rail and come in at the grommet underneath the driver seat. I’m installing it next week.

I was asking because I only ever seen people do either or and nothing else.

 

Replaced the antenna bezel and housing. Old one was seized on required drilling. Did some finishing touches on my trd antenna and new gasket and looks amazing

 

Not sure if you have air bags but.
I put air bags on and noticed a random noise after. One day finally realized the bottom clamp brackets that go under the leaf spring b was catching the edge of the gas tank shield.

 

Nope ,no air bags

 

MBRP exhaust ordered. PO put one on and I like the sound, but it's started to rust through at one of the hangers. Spent the extra $100ish and got the stainless steel version with a lifetime warranty.

My stainless one rusted through too. I went magnaflow

 

The lifetime warranty should cover that if it happens again.

Starting prepping for my tonneau cover (gets here today) and my bed bars.

Not sure if I want the overland swag, but i think the pelican case mounted up on the bed bars would look cool....

Added lights on both sides under the bed rails, flipped my hi lift jack to fit under the cover, bought a pelican case.

I got a used Offgrid Engineering dual battery tray and my cowl induction mod was in the way.

Its an AFE "Dynamic Air Scoop" (#54-76012-S) that is designed to fit their air boxes. But I used a 4" to 3.5" elbow and some 3.5" intake tube to fit to it. Probably have just over $200 in it. Retains the stock air filter.

Juniper Overland sells a very similar battery tray system now. It looks quality built, but not overbuilt like the old Offgrid ones (which they no longer sell)

Installed a low profile mounting brackets(?) on my bed rack for a 5lbs propane tank.

Just need to find a giant worm clamp/hose clamp instead of a ratchet strapping the tank to the vertical bar. So the cops won’t say “unsecure load”.

 

You're not wrong, but the antenna I got was a custom one-off and I don't think they make them ready to go like mine was. The closest one I can find is

this just slightly different and no TRD branding. Although looking on ebay there are a few like mine just different coloring.

Great idea! Do you have any way to monitor your IAT? I'd be interested to see how much this helps.
