I also use reflectix to line the top. Keeps a lot of heat out

Does that work for cool weather camping too?

I'm not sure I can quantify it but I imagine it does. It has to, right? I put it in like 3 years ago and it's been there since so even if it does nothing, that's where it's gonna stay.

Military surplus puptent net fits near perfect. Has built-in tie down straps in the proper locations. Reaches bed floor from topper ceiling with enough extra to tuck under sleeping pad/mattress/etc. Net folded up fits in bed cubbie too.

Interesting! I’d been considering something going between the topper fabric and the metal framing. All good things to consider.

My very 1st night few years ago had back all open all night, had lantern in there. Went to go to bed & Lots’O mosquitos in there. For most part haven’t had trouble. One morning got hot (slept in) & opened front side corner from inside get air. Also burning Coils & running ThermaCell. Just got back 3nights been using Gazelle lately.

I second this option. Besides being cheap, they are really good at providing full coverage. It's nice to be able to regulate ventilation by rolling the sides up and down and leave the back open but still have bug coverage. I go the lazy route and just throw it over the topper if I want to use it. Otherwise I just leave it packed so it's never in the way and takes only a couple seconds to set up and it's a little less claustrophobic inside.
