Lol! Some at the house, some that I barely drive are in a rental that I keep empty. Rest at my building where I have plenty of unused parking!
This year I picked up an 09 GX and this 06 Tundra v8. Both in good condition so could not pass!
The Tacoma is all fixed up, but with Omar to address some small electrical issues. Waiting on parts! I never knew getting parts for a 2023 would be this hard!

 

maybe hes accepting applications for a mechanic lol need one to maintain the fleet!

 

This is true, I use Omar in OP (ex Olathe Toyota), however, he has too much going on sometimes and I could definitely use more help!

 

What parts are you waiting on?

 

Driver side A pillar air bag!
And some wiring because I hacked my after market stereo setup when I left it at co-part, so need to fix that!
Rest is minor cosmetic stuff that I can live without!

 

Yeah, unfortunately there's no good way to get one of those. Always order new when it comes to airbags or anything with the SRS system.

 

Yup! I was told Toyota is looking for a new airbag supplier. They sued the old one into bankruptcy! Lol!

 

Well everyone sued them but Toyota had the clout to pull it off. Kind of obnoxious how poorly run takata was towards the end

 

I've been with Honda since before the whole airbag BS started. It was amazing some of the stupidity that was allowed to happen.

 

And the coverups GM and Hyundai did on their ends .....

 

I remember getting the recall on my recall replacement airbag in the old Corolla. Yikes, lol. RIP Takata

On a related note, I hope all of our friends at ATR this weekend remember to turn off their side airbags just in case

 

You know with the sheer amount of almost flopping we've done..
