    Exhaust done!

Nothing fancy, Dynomax super turbo 2.5" muffler with a turn down before the axle.

I was always hitting the stock muffler. I put this high up, almost above my upper link. It's so high even Snoop Dog couldn't hit it.

I have some high temp ceramic paint I'll put on the welds to finish it off.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
That's a bold statement. (...and pretty damned high!)

Got sliders modifications done and painted. Rear bumper tube is cut back to fit a 40. Capped and painted. (No pic of it finished)

    20250901_090948.jpg

I'll probably need a thicker spacer for the 40s. This is my 37 with a 2" spacer at full stuff.

Add: lengthen locker and ABS wire harness to the to-do list.

    20250901_114314.jpg

Getting closer, but still lots to do:
    • Axle brake lines
    • Extend locker and ABS wire harness
    • Put gas tank back in
    • Put bed back on
    • Modify gas tank fill neck
    • Install limit straps
    • Install rear brakes
    • Make shock reservoir mounts
    • Fabricate Shock tower stiffener bar
    • Other?

    Operation "Rear 3 link" update

More things off the list this last weekend.
Sliders put back on, axle brake lines done, axle wire harness extended, suspension bolts tightened, limit straps installed, and fuel tank put back in.

Next pain in the ass thing to tackle is modifying the fuel fill neck. The coilover is sitting right where it used to run. Going to have to route it up and over the shock tower. Will probably involve putting on and taking off the bed once or twice.

you should just ditch the tank and put a fuel cell in the bed. then you can have 30+ gallons instead of the tiny 21 gallon tank

Hmmmm.... That would free up room for a triangulated 4 link.

Don't be giving him more ideas and extending the project, I need that thing running and driving this winter to winch me over the hard stuff!
