yup, compression breaking, it’s one of the skills I haven’t figured out yet.

It works when you need rear brakes but need feet out too

I use that technique if I'm trying to put a bike up or down a ramp. Works well as a left hand rear brake.

Spokeless? Or do you mean tubeless?

I need to get new tires on the WR but I don't want to deal with the tubes. The tires are from 2013 though so I need to replace them (no dry rot or cracking though) and I kind of want to put some used track tires off my RC390 on there.

It is a nice bike. I can't really justify having that and my baby Rally.....just seemed like a real good price. I know they're different sizes.....but I still consider them the same "class". Now if I had plenty of money....sure :D

I keep mine on for visibility. The way I figure, if you're annoyed by my headlight you can see my headlight and that's good for me. I'm sure that it doesn't make a real difference in visibility to anyone that's a real danger but I like to think it helps some.

Mod probably didn't appreciate the beauty of a perfectly executed left hand turn.

I meant to ask what tape you went with too!

Have you experienced any pressure drop yet?

Will definitely keep you posted! Been 3 weekends so far this year, it's been doing splendidly. Currently getting some new tires put on, switching to try out supercorsas. Actually gonna be going back for the first time since June this coming weekend, and doing a "New Racer School" with the track org that will help me get ready to get my race license with CVMA in October. Not really sure how far I'll take the racing, but I at least wanna get the license and do one race to decide. I'll post up some pics in a follow up post in some spoilers so i don't hog the bandwidth of everyone else here lol

Hope you all had a good weekend. Did some riding Saturday & Sunday. took out the R6 that also has fresh supercorsas, and man those tires are confidence inspiring. Really confirmed why i didn't buy them sooner...because now IDK if I can go back to another tire on my track bikes. warms up fast, tips in easy, great grip. will be curious to see how long they last me though.

Was going to ride Monday as well, but Sunday started off pretty poorly. Managed to catch a ticket for doing 91 in a 55. here's the kicker though...he didn't radar me. He got my two friends ahead of me who rounded the corner first, since I wasn't doing anything wrong or speeding like they were, I just kept on going while the rest braked and refused to pass him. So I'm the one who got ticketed, because in his words "I got them at 91mph but I can't pull everyone over"...as they were stopped behind his car waiting for me. Hoping that it'll be an easy win in court but whatever happens happens I guess.

This thing is a blast. Went around for about an hour on my lunch break today. Getting smoother every time I ride, really starting to practice downshifts because they're my biggest weak point right now.

Oof, still sucks even if it'll be an easy win.
