Says it was customized to fit the 3rd gen Tacoma so it could be customized further to fit a second gen but I think the bed is the same.

I don’t have a rtt and I wasn’t using it. My plan was to get one but the wife said she didn’t like climbing the ladder, so plans change. It is a great bed rack, quality made, and adjustable in height. I would keep it if I had one.

im getting a bit of a reputation for Hyundai Santa Fe own a 03 that been my go to rig since 2020, and then last "year" so 2025 OG was done in a 09 santa fe with some really badly done lighting on a HF roof rack and a set of traction boards in the basket. go all over and had AC for the first time even that worked in a gambler

Awesome! A friend entered an old Volvo 850 in the third year of the event. The driver didn't get the point and thought it was a rally. After chewing through too many tires and most of the floor pan, they called it quits. Loaded down with four folks and some gear didn't help. A couple folks and me kinda sorta did parts of it on bikes. Due to circumstances with my sidecar bike, I ran some of it on my street bike. There was a vid posted on FB that I wish I could find.

I'd love to do it again, esp the OG OR one.

come back out that volvo just needs a lift, and by lift I mean some heavy springs and oversized tires.

Yeah. It was virgin experience. The car got sold for more money afterward. Just hilarious.

The same guy did it again the next year with his son in a Ranger Rover that only had FWD. Sold that one for more also.

We last did the WA Gambler in 2018. The guy chopped up an old Tradesman. The Taco was new, so at the last minute, I got very nervy about parking it in Enumclaw for the weekend and just ran as a support vehicle. Good thing as the van had no rear traction with all the weight being gone. We did skip the Naches section on the second day.

I do want to do it again. Summers have been flying by lately.
