Did the de-chrome on the outside. Now I just need to find all the pieces for the inside, unless I remove and spray them.
After using dental floss to remove the chrome, (who uses that anyways?) I found out the black residue actually looks kinda neat so I'm leaving it on until it starts to wear off, then I'll remove it.

Anyone have this hood lift from Redline? I'm wondering what the throw is on these with the 7" longer version.
They used to offer a TW group buy but I can't find it anymore.

    De-chrome looks good.

These look like identical kit I got from SPIKER, they lift higher than the oem candy-ass hood prop, not sure if its exactly 7" higher, but maybe. Go for it I think I paid exactly same ~5 years ago.

    Thanks!
I haven't had my Tacoma long but there's lots of inspiration on here and I already have a priority list of wants, starting with the OTT and a (black) cap.

Dropped off the Taco at the dealership to get my AC fixed.

The extended warranty has almost paid for itself. I paid $2500 for the warranty and the AC repair is $2200.
Plus I still have 5 years/70,000 miles left on the warranty though I would be just as happy if nothing else broke.

Driving our company F150 until tomorrow while I wait for the Taco to get fixed.

Over the weekend I washed, clawed, buffed/polished and “waxed” my truck with Fusso dark. Took some elbow grease to buff the was off but the truck looks amazing. I’ll try and get a pic in the sunlight showing it as midnight black metallic but this view does well for now. The second pic is the reflection with just a little dust on there after driving it today.

2021 TRD Sport: I've added a Tonneau cover and step hitch outside.
Inside I've added some color to the rings and starter button, phone holder
for Car Play and changed the shift knob. Also added a LED light kit to the
    Domes, vanity and license plate.

I have leather seat covers coming tomorrow to put on. They'll be red also.
    The Tonneau and step:

I'll post the seat cover pics when I get them on. Waiting for a sunny day.

What model are they? How are they in snow and was their mpg's comparable to factory Goodyears?

these are Geo15s, when they were new they did well in the snow. I have a pretty good grade on gravel off the hwy up to my driveway and they did well. However, two winters ago I got caught in snow on and all it wanted to do was crab. As far as mpg’s, I put these on soon after getting the truck so don’t have anything to compare with. I think if I would have gone more aggressive from the start that snow storm wouldn’t have been an issue.
I believe Iam going to replace them with the Geolander A/T4s

IMG_1803.jpg Well, here is that mod I was talking about being my last upgrade. These oversized cup holders will come in handy for sure. Although, I did see a set of seat jackers that caught my eye,,,,,,

Drove it to the gym. Started it up to come back home and got the little triangle on the dash. I come from Subaru where lights on the dash as horrible news . Almost panicked but its just the maintenance soon warning. 500 miles until oil change is due, keeping it at 5k mile intervals.

Heck yeah! Love Dolly Sods. My family and I have been going up there for years. I'll be heading up there in October. If you have time, check out the Canaan loop.
