I spent about 6hours under the truck, one day, understanding how everything moved. Caster. Camber. Toe.

Not as tricky as it seems, once you know what moves what.

Now I have to raise the perch on my front shocks so I'll probably need to adjust camber and toe after.

This is one area where actual classes can really open up the eyes of the shop gurus who have "always done it that way" lol

The fact that you took initiative to learn the movements and results of said movements puts you in front of 90% of tire shop techs

Why are you raising your shock perch?

The new bumper weighs about the same as the hidden receiver but the extra weight of having the winch on, full time, brings me down a 1/2".

    I'm on setting 4 of 6.

Ya it rides better but with that extra rake I get a slight nose dive when braking.

    :smack:
I got rid of that a couple years ago.
Still got it if you want it. lol

Welcome to lifted life. With your caster move forward to fit larger tires. You're always going to have a bit of nose dive when braking. And the higher you go, the more pronounced that will be.

The way I see it, the lower you can go without rubbing the better. Generally A good rule when off-roading to keep your center of gravity low

Lights: Still need to mount one more pair of SS3's, but lots coming out this way

    IMG_0738 (1).jpg

Running lights: This was the point of more lights-get more red up high

    IMG_0739.jpg

Brake: The little ones add a lot of brake light up high and this has been a concern since I did the conversion.

Had a National Geographic moment this morning. Watched a bobcat chase a bunny across out driveway into the brush. Cool. A few moments later he strolled back across the driveway with the bunny in his mouth. Cooler.

    3" lift? A.R.E cap 285/70/17 moto metal 955 17x9

It would be easier to put a 1/4" spacer on top of the shock.
