    So I was looking for a place to put a power outlet inside the cab and here is what I came up with.

    I just tapped into the OEM inverter under the center console. Perfect for charging a lap top or using a wall charger for a cell phone. Let me know what you guys think!

    I'd grab a hole-saw kit from harbor frieght and drill it into the black cover.

    Yea I broke off the tabs that hold the cover inplace and used some velcro to hold the cover on.

    Search around on this forum some, because I've seen some threads where people were using the square snap-in receptacles. Single square receptacles similar to the ones you find in many power strips. The cut the square hole to fit with a dremel tool and it snapped right in place. The receptacles even had a trim plate on the front which covered up the hole entirely.
