    Do it!
Is that the granite one? They have a white one available.
Fucking spare is comically large in the bed.

Mine's eligible next year too but you can't go further than 250 miles from home and you're supposed to just be driving it for show purposes, so I'm just going to keep it normal. I really wanted the plates tho, they look way better.

That's a weird clause in the way they worded yours. WA just won't let you have a classic be your only vehicle and they want you to drive it for special occasions only (nebulous wording is free license in the legal world to do whatever the fuck you want)

Yeah if they left the wording like yours, regarding just driving for special occasions or show purposes, I'd do it. They follow up with: "and for the occasional pleasure driving, not to exceed 250 miles from your residence."
I doubt you'd get pulled but who knows. I liked the idea of no more inspections.

"For the pleasure of others" is funny. Seems like a nice loophole / more lenient.
    I didn't know yours had to be 30 though, we're 25.

Ours is just one big loophole saying essentially don't use it for rideshare or your business and you can do whatever you want.

I think I'll just do it and see what happens, then go back to a normal reg if it's a hassle. I have the GX for longer trips now anyway.

In WA ours grants an even more important power than unlimited reggo, it also grants the power to have only a rear plate.

Oooh, lucky. I need to reread ours, that'd be a nice bonus.

Does VA let you use vintage plates or do you have to wear the Collector/Vintage plates the state chooses?

Just looking it over it mentions you can provide your own vintage plates for anything 1973 or earlier and the embossed date on the plate must match your year of manufacture. Anything newer, antique plates are provided by DMV.

*I did notice the 250 mile clause is only for pleasure driving, so if say you're going to a car meet across the country, you're good.

We have two styles, but I like the simple black and white

Ah that's interesting that they put a year restriction on it. I am searching for some clean 1990s plates for the taco now. I put some 1996 plates on the LC since it is the same generation of WA plate design. The plates you use here for vintage must match the designs in use during that vehicles production.

Funny how different the rules are in each state. Where do you look for plates? (eBay, antique shops, etc?)
