    This and that
I bought a diamondback as the 1st bed cover I ever got. Had the front one with longer strut (and disabled safety) to prop it 90 degrees. They are nice, but I can’t imagine using a rack on top.
I’ve had a rack as well, it’s an old victory 4x4 rack, it fit a certain roll up tonneau. Eventually. I set that rack up with a sliding tray that was just over bed height.
Then I pulled it all off, replaced with a hard roll up tonneau, lost like 200# (much more with the Wilco trailgate).
I’m also on the shorter side.
It seems like the rack on Diamondback defeats its functionality.

For the one I linked, apparently you’re still able to open one side of the DiamondBack at a time. Obviously not when a RTT is on.

I think that would defeat the prime feature of a DBack - the ability to pile stuff on top.

I have the Bin 8 in the front of my DB, which I access all the time for tools, etc. I went with the Front Runner racks, which mount on the back and the center. That way, even with my RTT on, I can still open the front to get to my Bin 8. Yes, not as easy to mount stuff on the Front Runners verses racks. Just mentioning! :)

I’ve got the same bin as well. Good to know there are options. Appreciate the insight!
