After all of the various height gains, I thought I would do a small poll to actually see what most people get out of their OMEs..

    I have a 07 pre with 884/5100 and get 2.75"

Haha... bored at work will do that to you. I just ordered the OME Dakar leaf pack last Friday so anytime I see a post related to it I take a look. I'm a little nervouse that I'm going to get 2 much lift. I do have a bed cap and a long bed so I'm hoping to get around 2 inches. I know that Ill probably get more but I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I'm kind of expecting that but hoping my 8 hour trip next week w/ the boat in tow will settle it down quickly.

They don't look like they settle down very easily .

There is the option of removing one of the leaves to reduce the height by about 5/8" .

i have 885's, 2'' aal, and ome shocks all around. no top plate spacer. even with the extra weight of 4x4 and my light bar, i am at 24'' (hub to fender) up front and about 24 1/4" rear. with the stock height being around 20.5''-21'', that gives me right at 3'', or a tad over 3''.

885X's no spacer , OME shocks all around and Dakars netted me 2 3/4" front and back .

It would be interesting to note the amount of miles on your stock springs before you installed. Some say they get three inches of lift, is that on a sagging spring. Prerunners also are going to make a difference also.

Measure from centre of hub to underside of fender .

    Stock front is approx 20"
    Stock rear is approx 22"

    Go from there .

Thank you sir. That point was brought up to me by a research scientist I know. He was interested in lifting his truck and noticed a huge variation in results. One could only assume guys getting 3 inches of lift started with some wore out springs and put on some fresh 885's. U get the point.
