Rob - sorry you're dealing with shenanigans. My wife just came off temporary injury (she was not injured at work), and that was annoying enough.

First, my recommendation would be to avoid here, and ask anonymously on reddit.

However, my actual advice is - was it denied because there's a debate about who is footing the bill? Personal insurance vs. workman's comp vs. TDI vs. etc? IE: Your company is less than X people so they don't carry insurance, so it goes to the state, but was filed through your personal insurance but because it's workplace and state carried, it has to go through them instead? I'm wondering if it was just sent to the wrong people for the cause.

A couple things we learned when my wife got injured at work are that workman’s comp insurance is designed to protect the employer not the employee and nothing gets accomplished without a lawyer. It’s a long painful drawn out process where the insurance company hopes you give in.

Yeah, if I get hurt at work, might be better to claim I did it elsewhere and go on TDI (depending on how serious the injury is). While it would suck to pay the costs, might be better than not getting a check for 6+ months.

Going to the Finger Lakes with Tiff for that weekend, or we would be.

Hell, supposed to be on vacation now... just came home and hour ago...

Been a long summer, and I didn't get to enjoy it.

Which of the finger lakes are you going to. My wife has family that lives on Canandaigua Lake.

    Lake Seneca

Over the July 4th Weekend, my buddies and I rode out there, and stayed in Canadaigua. The ride out was nice, took rt20 from Albany, all the way there.

Figured she'd enjoy it, so, heading out there for her Bday weekend(and our anniversary since I always miss it due to work).

No real agenda, or schedule. Just us, and no work.

Alex has to be devastated...all alone out front.
Morbidelli continues to be a menace to every rider out there. They have to start penalizing him.
The KTM crowd was entertaining...tight pack.

    And finally....Bagnaia
I'd keep sharp objects away from him.

Yeah we just rode while we were out there, then went to Niagra.

We're taking the car, and really have no plan, or idea really what to do. More concerned with getting away.

Yeah Alex was just pushing when he did need to. Based on what the commentators were saying he probably will.
The KTM race was the best part of sprint
Bagniaia may lose that ride. I know Marc is special but he isn't even close on speed.
