I was out on the lake this morning. A couple thousand swimmers thought it was just peachy!
After swimming, they went for a nice bike ride and then went jogging!







(Admittedly I was wearing 5 layers since it was still dark and cold when I got on the boat)

Twinkies on a picnic table.Where Casual Crawler and Boulder Bridge Bypass meet I came down an uneven boulder. Had to one tire at a time. Damn near had it sideways against a tree. damn near. Passenger side was up pretty high and the look on Kyle's face was priceless.

Other than that I kept it fairly mellow.
Went over boulder bridge all by myself. So proud. lol
Couldn't make it up the steep side of the rock after. Actually got hung up for a second on the hitch. Thought I was stuck.

Fellas, meet my new best buddy and super good boy.



He's a 4 month old beagle mix we got from a local rescue. We're calling him Monty. Brought him home this morning and he can't stop being cute. We had a fun romp in the yard earlier (his first time running free in a fenced yard) and then napped together.



After we lost Stewie in June to cancer (fuck cancer!) the house wasn't right without a dog. Things feel more balanced now. Stewie would have approved of this little hound. He's just a puppy and I'm really hoping to turn him into a good camper so he can come along with me and meet you dudes.

I don't know about that, my dog would have a fit if I left him home, he was happier just sleeping in the truck, even if I left him there to go into some store.

I know that feeling. In the 46 years Kimm'r and I have been married, I don't think there's been 6 months total that we haven't had a dog.

 

I agree Dave, I miss having a pet but apt living is not conducive to having one.

That is awesome! You are right-once a home has had a dog it isn't the same without one... He is a cutie! Probably be a great Mnt Bike/Running dog by the looks of him.
