see enough of these towers some of them start looking the same. is this one in Idaho?

 

Never get tired of visiting them though! This one is in Wa, Okanagan county

 

Did this little loop today, would be a fun little bit of trail for a group run with hitting a couple other things along the way.

 

Would anyone be up for a group run late September, we’ve have good luck in the past around that time.

Yeah I wanted to do that but ran out of time - told the wife I would be home at noon

 

Looks like 4WD may be required? I only ask because a couple buddies of mine have 2WD but like to tag along with a group of us. Looks like a fun route

 

I would say yes, depending on what people are up for we can make it whatever. We planned a multi day trip a few years ago but it fell thru.

 

Perhaps. I have a few plans already most Sept weekends but could try and sneak out. Bout time I tried to assimilate with the WA gang vs the Utah TW gang.

 

Go figure another TW trail run in the works and my clutch shits the bed. Should be back on the road in 1-3 days depending on shipping.

 

TW is here to prove the low maintenance option ain't that way.

 

Original clutch? Wondering how long mine will last

 

I got 160k out of my OEM clutch. This is a CMFX400 8 puck. I got around 90k out of it. * edit 120k out of my stock clutch.

 

Sheitttt. Im at 188 on a stock clutch

 

I’ve done 4 in the 140-165 range in second gens. The 165 was a 2.7 5speed owned by an old man.

 

Went up tripod today and played on the moon/funny rocks, and ran into a group of tacoma's up there. If anyone knows who they might be, I didn't get their handles but one had a DCSB with a custom bed/camper that was brown/maple color from the west side, and a white dcsb that moved back here from Florida. The white truck had the RCLT kit

 

RCLT yummy. I could see one in my future.

 

Did you find many fun lines on the moon rocks for mild Tacomas? I did the v-notch climb at funny rocks but it seemed like moon rocks was populated solely by buggies/ truggies.

 

the right hand side has stuff that you can do pretty easy and not risk body damage
