Hey everyone. My partner and I currently have an amazing German Shepherd foster looking for a home. His name is Mufasa. He is about a year and a half old, sable colored, and currently 52lbs, but should be about 65-70 when back to his normal weight. He is super friendly and good with other dogs. Currently with our 8-month-old GS and 12-year-old husky. Very calm and submissive play style. Knows his name and some basic commands. House/potty trained from what we can tell, and quite decent on a leash. Would strongly benefit from being with another confident dog, but also would be great solo, just needs some structure and some basic training, and he would be an even better dog. I would avoid young kids, as he is not aggressive but does jump on people. He does have some slight separation anxiety, but doesn't mind a crate. Last night he cried for about 20 minutes and then fell asleep. If you are interested, feel free to text me as I don't check TW super often. If you are interested, go ahead and apply for him through FRGS(https://www.frgsr.org/), and we can go from there. Any questions, just shoot me a text-9523807113

Could deff train it out of him as it seems like a way of affection from him IMO, but I could imagine being tough with little ones

Any of you fab/welding folks want a Craven cut and clamp to mod for your use, or to simply tinker with, I have one that fits a Tundra. I'd rather donate (free) for your use than throw in the dumpster. I'm in the Golden area. LMK.

The big one has been living and growing behind the grill. It gets pretty active when I bring the heat.
The smaller one has been living at the other end of the deck and made this appearance today.
Is it spider mating season? Is one about to eat the other?

Got a new (to me) RTT made by 4x4 Colorado. Seems like a solidly built product. I was going to buy it new and pick up from their shop in Denver, and was happy to support a local company, but based on their recent reviews and lack of customer service, I'm not sure how much longer they'll be in business...

I was able to pick up the annex from their shop (guy I bought the tent from only had the tent), which was nothing short of a miracle.

But at the end of the day, I'm a happy camper.

Agreed but they now know what needs to be worked on. Easier to build from this result.

Yeah, having the truck separate from base camp is a nice aspect. I don't love pulling a trailer up big hills on the highway, but once we hit dirt it's not an issue. The trailer is small and capable enough it's never limited where we can drive/camp.

There's no bringing the dog up in the tent with us, and the wife doesn't want him in the car separate from us, so an enclosed annex with a floor is a must... Plus he's a big boy and would be kinda cramped in the back seat.

If this was set up on the truck it would be really inconvenient due to the extra set up and tear down time with the annex.

Checked tracking on some hardware for work, was delivered on Saturday, but not here.
I think I may have been the victim of a porch pirate. Fortunately the vendor is re-sending it at no charge. All this time I thought I was in a safe hood with newlyweds and nearly deads. Enjoy your new cast iron commercial door closer and electric strike you dumbfuck, good luck getting anything for it.
