Little bit of this and that
What front fenders were used? Factory ones with the flares removed?

I ordered aftermarket front fenders, the factory set had a decent bit of corrosion behind the flares. The flares look factory but are not, they mount inside the wheel well instead of holes through the fenders and bedsides.

    Get one of these.

I'm done using this lift. It's going up for sale soon.

What's the make and model on that lift? If I can't find a good one, maybe I could make the trip up from Indy.

A través de un hilo en este foro, hice todo paso a paso porque era mi primer trabajo, y lo hice muy bien.

También puse un sello en la parte trasera de la transmisión automática (A44D) porque tenía una pequeña fuga.

I like them. Haven’t got a chance to take them to the trail yet cause of university and work, and it hasn’t rained in Georgia where I am since I got them. There’s a video on youtube of a Jeep guy reviewing them after 60k miles of use if you want to watch that. IMG_9051.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Here is the deets on that lift.

Yep, as noted from a fellow member, it is a 6000 lbs capacity, mid height unit.

It's funny, you work under and around a unit, and you can't recall it stats. Odd.

Did a coolant flush- had some nice thick sludge in the reservoir. And this brought out an oil leak... thanks to ppl on here, I am thinking about replacing the valve gasket covers myself- just worried I'll mess something up and cause a much bigger problem. Happy Sunday!

Installed unistrut channels on my camper. I installed each one with rivnuts into the top of the cap. Then my neighbor 3d printed some transition pieces to finish the install.PXL_20250907_235735552.jpg PXL_20250907_235817440.jpg

Did you put the rivnut through the metal tubing/frame on the inside or just to the sheatmetal?

Having retrieved my mud flaps at least two dozen times on trails throughout the decades, I add this as my first line item to my camping checklist: “REMOVE MUD FLAPS.”

I lost, ran over my front mud flaps so long ago . I was looking at my rear ones and I was wondering what people do/use to revive them ? The white is almost gone on one of them.
I took my truck on a mild offroad trail ,to escape the heat and the house. Ive been hemmed up with a back injury. No trail pics but I got a nice after pic, while stopped for lunch.

I made sure to align the rivnut with the internal frame. Doing this clamped the semi-loose sheet metal to the frame. This made the top of the cap feel more ridgid.
