My 2016 taco, at 120k, is free from any dings and dents. Zero. Same with my 2004 S2000 and 2017 Macan. Some of us take care of our vehicles and keep them dent free.

It was enough of an issue to warrant a third gen TSB for paint defects. If a few of us don’t make an issue, then manufacturers continue to pump out lower quality products for more money.

By no means am I saying that the few that are having issues shouldn't complain and try to get it fixed. My point is it isn't some huge crazy problem affecting most people or if it was there would be a recall for it.

I actually use my truck for truck stuff so, pinstripes, scratches, dings and dents are the way it is.

I've had cars that I OCD over and park miles away in parking lots and detail weekly too though  I just don't do that for a truck.
