I know it sounds stupid, But there is a guy selling this stock bumper And he says it thinks it might be slightly bent but he's not sure. Maybe that means he knows it's bit and he's just playing dumb, but it's hard for me to tell from the photos. I've been looking for this stupid bumper for a while, and it seems clean if it's not bent but it's not near me so I can't go check it out in person, and I would have to buy it site unseen.

You’re overthinking it. It’s bent. Don’t buy it.

There are plastic conner supports/mounts in these bumpers, I lightly tagged yellow pole (steel) in a parking lot broke the plastic support in the bumper it caused my bumper to sag a bit, ordered a corner support they are side specific and replaced the broken one...no more bumper sag. I'm just relaying an experience not advocating buy or no buy, maybe the owner can look at back side of bumper and report.

A couple of small dents in the bumpers (like the one in the photo) give the truck "character".

I can't tell from pics, but considering the fender is mangled is seems possible the bumper is compromised.
I see new aftermarket and genuine original style chrome ones are available.

I've bought aftermarket chrome fronts for both my '00 (the two small chromes on the sides) and my '03 (longer chrome inlay). I initially gave them a B+ for quality, but in hind sight they were both 1) better than the rusty shit I had on my truck, and 2) seemingly flawless after I had them on there for a month and forgot about my initial trivial gripes.

(I also bought aftermarket rear bumpers and posted an evaluation of the quality differences among suppliers.)

For $200 you can go genuine and move on with your life, or for $100 go aftermarket and do the same. If anyone has a nice original one they're likely not selling it... GL~

Thank you! I'm trying to have him send me more photos, especially one looking at it from straight ahead. I'm pretty sure its bend inwards and down.

    Drewskie

    One good thing though
Our face bars have a lot of adjustment mainly from the larger frame brackets
Those as well can be bent/hammered for better fitment (gaps….always gaps)

takes a while to get fitment to your liking
But with patience you can do it
