Anybody know a shipper with reasonable rates to move a front bumper from SoCal to Cincinnati?

Fastenal doesn’t do move freight between the western states to eastern half of country.

    https://www.fastenal.com/fast/blue-lane-freight

    Need ideas….

    Thanks!

Not sure if they still do it, but have heard of Greyhound being cheap, but slow.

which forum(s) would you suggest posting in to find someone traveling from SoCal towards Ohio?

    Their website looks promising! Thanks!

Haven’t yet until I figure out shipping and cost

Thanks for the idea, but I think, shipping on a pallet would be best.

Talk to your employer if they have a shipping department. They could ship it for you and apply their freight discounts they have with the carriers. Most employers will do that for you once in awhile. If that is not the case for you then ask a friend or family member who is employed where shipping is done. To ship on your own is ridiculous with what they charge you in most cases. Weight and size both will factor into this unfortunately.

You can check these guys out in that case. Others run free shipping promos time to time.

Nope, Greyhound stopped doing shipping a year or two ago unfortunately. It was the best price up till then though.

How much does the bumper weight. UPS LTL should be reasonable. I get things shipped LTL all the time.
