What do you think about a new Modular cap that is easy-on/easy-off in 10min without the need of tools, no drilling, it storages in 1/3rd of space, strong and lightweight construction ..and it will be available for the 3rd and 4rd Gen Tacomas?.

Bummed that ARE lack of quality control resulted in our cap being returned to the factory. And the only way to deal with them is through a distributor. I am not getting much information from the distributor. Only that it was shipped back last Wednesday.
Going to see an attorney tomorrow about what rights we have.

Real Trucks buying ARE seems to have negatively affected them.

I miss my cap. I gave it away with anticipation of the new cap.

If we get out of this crapshoot, Project M is looking good. We just don't like the tailgate entry/closing.

that looks super cool. interested to hear how it turns out. i thought tune was more known for the extra width but cutting that down to save weight makes a ton of sense.

Yeah I love the look and usability of the Tune M1L. Weight obviously plays a big factor when thinking about campers. Plus we arent that big and don't mind having to pull the bed out to sleep everytime so it works and the normal Tune M1 was too big/heavy in our opinion. Time will tell how it turns out.

Yes new. They are known for the Tune M1 which is wider but also heavier.

They have vendors throughout the US. Not sure what’s closest to you but yeah shipping costs extra.
