I was originally looking for a Gen 2.5 for the 4.0L like my son's 2012 4 door. I found one at the Cape, but dealer would not send from Cape to home. I asked what else they had in stock. There was this 2017 4 door TRD Off-Road Premium that looked good. The dealer web listing showed as an automatic. I was surprised to find out in the parking lot, that is was in fact a 6 speed manual! I jumped on it fast! My son found out it was the TRD Off-Road with manual and almost freaked!

Not many manuals around and I am thrilled to have all the creature comforts (heated seats, moon roof, power rear slider window... But so happy it had factory hard bed cover, locking rear diff. and A-TRAC too!!! Love it!

    Premium package for 2017 included:
    • Dual Zone Climate Control
    • Heated Front Seats
    • Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel
    • Power Moon Roof
    • Power Rear Slider Window
    • Premium JBL audio with Entune touch screen infotainment center
Maybe more stuff, but these were the big items that checked all the boxes for me!

This will mainly be my reliable daily driver. I have a work vehicle, so miles M-F are pretty low. Weekend errands, occasional weekend road trips to beach/Boston/RI... Also some trips out to dirt roads for fishing. Not so much trail riding. Nothing too rough. My wife would kill me if I wrecked my truck that has many payments ahead. But I do plan on heading out to the country more. Maybe some light camping, fishing, hunting trips...

    OK... Finally took some pics!
There is a levelling kit in addition to whatever lift was part of the TRD Off-Road package.
