    In The offseason we upgrade The rooms. We're replacing hand me down T.Vs from a friend who owns a LaQuinta that gave them to us 2 years go. 11 this month and 10 next month and all of our rooms will have brand new T.V.s. Half the rooms have new furniture from last year and in January we''ll spend another $9500.00 and furnish the rest of our rooms with new furniture.

    Yep. I saw similar prices in the $150 range.

    My mechanic passed away and he had all the stuff at his house. Problem is when you have an issue... Then you have to get the tire unmounted, send it back, ride on something else for the time being, wait for a replacement... Or just buy another. When you get them at the shop it's nice to be able to take it back and they can figure out the labor/logistics and get you a replacement without question.

    Last go around I bought tires and took them somewhere and got a good install price ..

    Local shops (the good ones that don't wreck your stuff) have been charging more if you didn't purchase tires from them. Up to around $42 per tire to mount /balance/ recycle the used tire. Since I have to drop my TPMS sensors before unmounting the old tire they complain and charge you for a TPMS rebuild kit too $15-25 per wheel. So by the time I get done they want to charge $60 a wheel. So add up $600 for tires, $240 to mount/balance/TPMS kits/recycle old tires. $880 included mounting one of the used 265s that came off onto the spare rim as well, so factor all that and the price is roughly the same. I've been buying tires online for about 15 years or so, and I just recently found it to be just about the same price if you do your homework.

    Now if my mechanic was still around I would just purchase my own tires and have him install. He had the machines in his garage and he was really reasonable on $$$

    Walmart has a two pack for about 12 bucks, comes with a small can of Throttle body cleaner and Mass Airflow cleaner, in for a penny in for a pound at that point.

    Just got some much needed rear suspension upgrade and it's safe to say it is one of the best upgrade/mods I have ever done to my truck.
    Starting the day early in the morning at my buddy's garage.


    Went to a local CAT scale and got the exact weight of my truck with two adults in the front row and truck fully loaded.

    Door sticker numbers:

    so.... in terms of GAWR, my front is exactly the same with the limit of the front axle, and the rear is 100lb over.
    But... in terms of GVWR, my entire vehicle is 720lbs over the limit.
    The airbags and the E load tires help a lot compared to stock configuration but the rear driving dynamic is far from ideal. It bounces non-stop, and feels very harsh on every little unevenness of the road.

    Originally purchased a set of used trdpro fox shocks, however, after some research leading me to believe they won't be enough for the extra weight for my use case. So I purchased what I believe was the best option for my use case, OME MT64.
    This is how they look next to each other.


    For the leaf springs, I got the All pro leafs rated for 500lbs of weight at 3 inch lift, I didn't want the full 3 inch lift so I believe this would be perfect to get the 1-2inch with my 800lbs load. (and I am glad I went this route instead of 1000lb rated leafs).


    ACE hardware become my new fav store since I was able to get the longer carriage bolts for my airbag cradles within 30min of finding out.


    Thanks for my buddy Kai from Tinkerers Adventure for lending me his garage and help me with the job.


    Much beefier rear end, test drive confirmed the superior road comfort and handling for the weighted rear end.


    We only had time to install the rear end which was much needed to carry the weight, the final ride height of the rear seems to be good, I like the rake and it will probably settle down a bit. Front end I still intend to use the trdpro fox coilover for the maximum "smoothness" and the additional 1 inch lift over my trdoffroad front will help it look more "level".

    I do think he is going overboard on disconnecting both sides of the battery, one side is all you need, but I do agree with disconnecting the negative 1st and connecting it last, less chance of spark that way...


    Unless removing the battery for room, I have never disconnected both cables even when R&Ring engines and or transmissions... lol

    I got the version 1.0. Issues with the ‘wings’ mostly. Design problems and when contacting vendor they were of no help. Had to modify myself. Just skids was a lot of aggravation. Happy?
