Question.

If anyone knows of course...

Car has NY plates on it right now. What do I need to be able to register it in CT besides the tittle and proof of insurance?

 

Probably an inspection.

 

Guessing they'll probably tell me that at the dmv when I go there to register it.

Now to work on getting it registered.

 

I think all it is, is VIN verification and emissions testing. You should be able to get that done at a local garage. You’ll need a temporary plate from DMV to get the car to the garage unless the previous owner is letting you use their plate. After that it’s waiting in line with the dregs of society at the DMV to get your plate. I assume you’re going for antique plates? If so, write down $500 for purchase price unless that’s already filled it. It’ll make your stupid property taxes cheaper.
