    The smaller the scale, the larger the object. I like my 1/1 scale truck, but it would be too heavy to put on top of the kitchen cupboards so I settled on 1/64 (1985 Toyota trucks, 1970s Scout IIs, and more), which leaves room for the 1/130 Boeing 737-900ER and other memorabilia. ;) Larger scale topographic USGS maps on the wall, 7.5 minute quadrangle maps for explorations, pack trips, hikes, hunts, habitat surveys...
