Goddam, gun shows suck so much nowadays. Above MSRP guns, mall ninja optics, stun guns, beef jerky, and $15 parking.

My new MIL asked me to go to a gun show a few months ago, I agreed because it was her first time. The $15 parking set the tone, and all I wanted to buy for myself was 223 snap caps. Not a single one to be found in that entire building. It's always fun seeing the old fudd guns, but their prices are a bit out of touch. Maybe the prices will drop when more estate sales pop up.

 

Ya at this point its just a museum for me, maybe some good milsurp or med if im lucky

I did get a kick out of a vendor pushing the new Sig 2011 - " This is Sigs latest new pistol after they made the 320 that is being used by the military and a bunch of LE agencies!"

I saw the footage from a person who was filming maybe 2nd or 3rd row from him. Jesus, holy shit. I dont usually get bugged out by that sort of thing but seeing it fucked up my whole day.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't a paramedic with the knowledge base that I have when it comes to trauma. While unfortunately it's not the most disturbing thing I have ever seen I will not be watching it again. When I saw it, the news of his passing had not been released, but I knew he had no chance. Deeply saddening regardless what side of the isle you sit on or what your political beliefs are. I've been wondering for a long time now since when did it become wrong to disagree and have a respectful conversation about a topic? With demonization of someones views, someone will eventually act out in violence. Which that applies to all parties. I hope people can use this as a positive to start to respect each others views, but my hope and the fabric of history are different.
