RCI. Their transmission skid comes with free cat guards, at least they did a while back. I bought mine over 4 years ago and didn't get the free cat guards, but I got the cat guards eventually because I didn't want a rat running off with the cats. I think, their transmission skid is designed to integrate with their engine skid plate, but you could probably integrate trans skid with other engine skids if you thought about it. I'm completely happy with the RCI.

Checked another project off the list today and still had time to sling some flies on the river. Backwoods full skids.

Wow. When you look at cost versus effort you would have been so much ahead of the game to rent a trailer versus carrying all that sod up into the back of that truck.

Due for new brake pads & rotors soon. Original brakes and was going to go with OEM. However, I've experienced the steering wheel shutter at times. City driving is fine but acts up when we drive mountain passes regularly. I'm midful of the brakes and assist with engine braking all the time.

    This video shows what's happening.

I've decided to try a higher performance brake and rotor this time. Going to give these a try. Steep price though in Canada. I need installation as well. Slated for next week. I'll update then. the full kit with calipers is over 5K CDN!

if they don't perform up to my expectations I'll just go back to OEM.

    Nothing crazy!
Not really. I live 3 miles away from the farm. They always give a good deal to the neighbors. It's also not a bad workout lol.

I think you will be pleased with the Nexen tires. I work at a tire shop and the ATX is our best seller. E put them on fleet vehicles, customers trucks, vans and SUVs all day long. I've had nothing bit good reviews of them. I put a set on my wife's rig and my Tacoma's next set will probably be these too. They really seem to hold up well and have great highway manners too.
