Haven't been to one in a WHILE.
The smell was almost like Comicon and we were in an open air parking lot.
You could set up an Old Spice Deodorant booth and make a mint.

I'm just surprised to see so many lurkers come out of the woodworks the last 24 hours.

    Happy Thursday, gents and ladygents.

    1 week till 40... :anonymous:

Hopefully I will get to come out to the cinders takeover! I kind of want to see if I can get some air in the 4runner, but I think maybe my spindles might explode because I have not gusseted them. Are there other weak links on the airborne toyotas that I would have to worry about?

Hey I've made good progress on the OCD/Anxiety front. I don't mind getting shit for it still but legit my life is so much better without as many panic attacks. I can live my life with wheels that are 5-footers without having to get them refinished.;)

But probably wise advice because it is my DD. I would definitely like it to track straight and not have too much bent.

While I'm always strapped leaving the house I also carry a TQ with me and have kits in both my trucks. NAR makes some good "pocket" or "door" sized kits. I have advanced things in it... but paramedic... I'll risk my license practicing medicine off duty if it means saving a life.

Is AZ hard on civilian first aid? I was under the impression that as long as you're "operating within your scope of practice" and not doing "surgery" ie criking someone or doing needle decompression you were good nationwide

Assuming the "advanced things in it" means decompression needle etc.

I can and will dart someone to save a life. In my scope of practice? Yes. On duty acting under a medical director? No. That's where someone could get me/you.

That covers basic first aid and non-invasive procedures such as tourniquet application, Israeli bandage application, gauze, quick clot, chest seals... you get the idea.

Sticking a needle into someones chest to decompress it, is not covered under the Good Samaritan law(s). That would be classified as an invasive medical procedure.

Ah, I see - apologies. I overlooked this message.

I was still on the "door kit" comment and didn't think we'd ventured past the basic first aid realm.
