Sounds like everything came out reasonably alright for the circumstances, that's good to hear.

Replacing the core support is the first step for a face swap, if you're into that sort of thing.

@Wulf if you have the means, I highly recommend a cheap Vidmar: $50 in Fort Collins.

This is jut a little one, (relatively speaking, it's about 29"x29"x29") but those drawers are rated for 400lbs each. Great for storing spare parts. I expect it'll be sold by the weekend at that price, if it even survives the day.

Damn that rear tire holder on the FJ is either really strong or the ford transit is easily damaged lol

So I saved myself the trip to Harbor Freight since I haven't had to head over there.

Instead I ordered a countersink bit meant for steel and hardened steel.

    In other words

Nice thing is I can just return in, but man that bit was eaten up bad and it only stopped there cause I had the stop set on my drill press.

Maybe one day I'll bite the bullet and order one from McMaster-Carr. The other countersink bits worked wonderfully even on hardened steel and stainless that I ordered from them.

Return, I'll get my refund lol

Just saying it's crazy how soft it is. The countersink bit is more a Want and less of a Need. Just figured if I make that 24" wide table extension, I'd want to chamfer every hole.

    Oh hell no

It's a countersink bit; it'll chatter like crazy being angled plus it's soft as hell and not worth using

I'll just buy the expensive bit down the road whenever
