:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/parking lot warriors. I'm ambivalent about most apparent bad parking jobs, for one big reason: I wasn't there when that person parked their car. I don't know if they parked that way because there was already another car parked across the line. I also park in the boonies when I drive one of my "toys" but I also like having a car that won't make me cry if it gets a door ding.

I'm heading over to my nephew's place to help him build a shed. He had his neighbor helping him earlier but it turned out they got something wrong with the instructions (written in chineseium) and he had to take it back apart! I hope we can avoid that fate today.

Two days ago we buster our butts trying to burn our pile of cut down bamboo, which is diabolical in its ability to jab you in the eye while falling off of a pile. While on fire. We didn't even make it half way through. So that night I did some research, and yesterday morning went out and came home with this.

What a great tool! It swallowed that bamboo like it was cardboard. We got through the remaining pile in 1/4 the time with 1/4 the effort. We also chipped our pile of trimmings and deadfall, and it ate that stuff up too without breaking a sweat. I've used older chippers in the past and was never convinced that they were worth the effort. This one is, definitely.

This pile of mulch is a fraction of we got in just a couple of hours.

    Morning all:

I could use a chipper Dave, probably would take about a month of work to clean up all the brush piles that I have accumulated around the yard though!

Looks like the helicopter that crashed was one that they use for working on power lines and was operated by a subcontractor for PPL, unfortunate.

    I had posted this before
Years ago I parked the "66" all by itself in the lot of a drive in restaurant, empty parking spots everywhere. A car pulls in right alongside me and when the woman opens the door she hits the side molding on my car and puts a small dent in it :(, just makes you wonder!

I try to park in the lonely section of parking lots, for the same reason, so no one hits my truck, and I can get my doors open. I did that at a Wally World one day. No one around for miles when I parked. Came back out and big GMC was parked right next to me. WTF??

If you ever seen how long the doors of a 2nd gen Camaro are that is part of the reasoning for parking like that . I also have a 8 point roll cage which adds to the difficulty to get in or out of my Camaro

I consider this as a physical therapy exercise as I'm 6' 4" and getting older it gets harder to get in or out !!!

Yep! Motor is definitely Asian but according to the dealer they are made to DR specs. It's sturdy and IMO well designed. I wouldn't want to run a yard full of leaves through it but that is not our need. There are models better designed for that kind of work.
