    Well said indeed. I've got some land in CO I may run to. My buddy says CO is fast becoming as bad as CA though. And the weather. Snow in July? No beaches? Hell no!

    FWIW, I am hoping to pay off the house before I croak and be sure it stays in the family. Maybe then my kid will be able to have a home where he was born. With 50% of our work force being imported and 50% of our work being exported, I don't know how he will ever be able to have what we had growing up.

    We adopted her last November. She was at a shelter way out in Madera. She was a puppy mill dog, stray, and in shelters for 1.5 years due to some medical conditions. She's got alot of scars. Both, physically and emotionally. My wife spotted her online while on vacation. We drove down from a hiking trip in Angel's Camp and swooped her up. Paid the vet bills and got her all fixed up. Now she rules the house with an iron fist.
