They only crow at sunrise and sunset most of the time. If its horny season then its all day long cuz they are hunting for the chicks to make more chicks. The sunset crowing is surreal because they would post up in trees throughout the neighborhood and each dude would give it a go before the sun went down. We would chill on our balcony and sip on some drinks and just listen. Total Jurrasic Park vibes. The sunrise crowing can get to you if those drinks turned into one too many. They start right at sunrise.

And God forbid your girl go full Crazy Peacock Lady and start feeding them. Our roofline looked like Wild Kingdom a few times. I had to put a swift end to the feeding.

 

That's pretty cool. There was a story a few years back a neighborhood in a CA city had ACTUALLY gotten overrun with peacocks. And they had gotten aggressive. But I can't remember who/where.

 

Gonna look that up! We had an albino peacock. Dude was rad when he'd display his tail and stuff. I never realized they "vibrate" when they do the tail display. Like, they make a humming/buzzing sound. Its a trip.

That "buzz" right at the beginning is that "vibrating" sound I talked about. This is so rad! That was our hood a year or so ago. I miss it. It made our neighborhood special and different. Kathlene is a Peacock Karen! She can suck it!

Put Elka 2.5 IFP with 4130 Dirk King UCA and driver side clamshell bushing replacement with Icon add a leaf , just got this all done 4 days ago.
