I havent had much luck with off road shops in that area, Collin County OR in McKinney will never get my business again after a few bad experiences/results from them. May have been bad luck or maybe a sign of just shotty work.
Are you just wanting a general mechanic/dealer or an off road shop? I've used Toyota of Plano(121 and legacy, W of DNT) with mostly good results for some stuff.
My Truck is currently out in Holtam in E FW at Tandem Offroad getting work done, gears and looking into something being up with my front end suspension/steering. Bit of a drive but I know I can trust the work. There's also Goode's off road I've heard pretty good things about but never had first hand experience.

Good info on avoiding that place

It probably could be general automotive I suppose but just for peace of mind I’ve used an offroad shop that’s got tons of built Toyotas in and out everyday just for familiarity.

would probably be fine general automotive for steering noise. And just accept that all my bushings and suspensions kinda squeaky. Think I’ve got dirt in my coilovers makin noise on the springs.

Drives as normal though so I’m tempted to just ignore it lol

I get that. My truck ahs needed to go in for way too long, I've been avoiding anything off road besides basic stuff a subaru could handle.
