I've done Iron Range twice, it is definitely outside of my comfort zone.
The green trails are all fun, I did one of the blue trails and decided that was it for me. Spider Lake is more my jam, plus that one is near Cuyuna MTB

Are you planning on camping or driving out and back on the same day?

Also if you mountain bike at all Redhead MTB park in Chisholm is definitely worth a stop.

If that iron range is the same place they show on recoveryteam vids, be prepared for lots of really big rocks.

Its an old RR bridge. They allow street legal vehicles with permit, so... must be safe. People drive full size trucks over it so I am confident my little porker will be safe.

Ball joints and ujoints got greased, yesterday.
New tie rods and ubj needed quite a bit more.
Ujoints took a good 4-5 pumps.
The last time I greased them was end of April/early May.

The nice young lady at the BLM info office in Kanab 'bout tried to scare me. She said this place was pretty hard to get to...rough road, deep sand, blah blah blah. She didn't know I was in a Tacoma.

The road was all washboardy...not real rough. The last 4 miles was deep sand...yes, deep. When you tried to walk in it you'd easily sink past your ankles. The nuts were the worst part...about a foot deep.

I just did my best Ivan Stewart...foot down and let 'er eat! Fun.

    The drive was worth it:

half the time the people asking are in a corolla.

when we were in arches, I had turned around on the west valley road before I tore something off my truck. on the way out, I made a joke that a corolla we saw was gonna turn down the road we were coming off, sure enough they did. I told them they shouldn't go that way or they'd get buried in the sand and they didnt believe me... I was like no really, you need to turn around or you are gonna have a real bad day.

Could of years back at Windrock we passed a Rivian R1T and his Gladiator buddy on rubber bands.

They had managed to work their way downhill through some slick clay and mostly two track, but couldn't back it back up, so they had started heading the long way out on that trail.

Our group of 7 Tacos, 2 FJs, a 4 Runner, and a built Gladiator had spent 6 hours navigating and winching and getting sideways coming up from the way they were headed down...... Oof
