    You literally have no clue what you are talking about. I have been on Tacomaworld since 2008 and have had 6 Tacomas. I have been with Toyota Motor Corp since 2001. I have plenty of service advisors with tickets/ro’s for tailgate malfunctions. I do not care what you think you know and give a D**n what you think you can say towards members on here and what your opinion is. What I was asking was if there was a way to remove the motors and not throw a code. TW has had many people figure out things that even Toyota master techs couldn’t. So I was asking the members. If you like your awesome little powered tailgate then enjoy it. Carry on.

    @tcBob and @chris4x4 When did we start allowing all these hecklers in here. Time to clean up some of this !!!! If they aren’t trying to help and want to go back and forth with people then it’s time to show them the door. For all I care go ahead and delete this thread.
