Any update here? I tried using the mobile cooling app and nothing. It needs to be paired beforehand and it won’t see the device if it’s stuck on the QR code screen

I had some good communications using DM, but then the people who he said he forwarded the issues off to never acted. I suspect he is no longer with the company, or the company has a new policy to not use forums. Forums like this one can be quite predatory. Not easy for a company to handle.

This thread has been a good one.
True, replies from 'so-called' forwarded requests were in the category of "limited".

Dometic emailed me the attached pdf instructions this morning. I keep getting the error "Scanning Connection failed! Please check your connection and try again." It does this whether I'm connected to wifi or not. Interestingly, the instructions say to "forget any other bluetooth connections on your device" so I'm going to find an old phone lying around and try it with that.

I'll give this a shot too. I should have an old device laying around somewhere.

Hello. I was wondering if there's pictures or a tutorial of how replace a thermistor on a Cfx3 on a 75dw. I replace the temperature on an old cfx50, but this seems way different. I tried to skim through the thread but I didn't see specific pictures

Actually, I got it apart. Can someone tell me if it's the thermistor with the red plug or the white plug that goes to the small compartment on the 75dz. Thank you!

Wouldn’t the Duel Zone have two thermostats? One for each zone. You’ll have to figure out which one is bad.

Yeah, that's why I asked which plug it was. I know the small compartment one is bad. That's why I asked if it's the red plug or the white plug that goes to the small compartments thermistor.

Guess I'll answer my own question. I found the parts diagram. Appears the red plug is the short one. Now I wonder if the Thermistor I have for a CFX (I ordered extras from Australia yeas back) will work with the CFX3. The plug isn't the same, but it plugs in with a little wiggling. Had my fridge upside down for a while so I have to leave it right side up until tomorrow before I can test.

Caravans plus is super cool. They helped me even though I ordered things years ago from them. They are hands down the most knowledgeable people I've dealt with when it comes to Waeco/Dometic products. Dometic themselves was useless and told me I couldn't repair my CFX50's 7 years ago when the thermistor went bad. Thankfully I found Caravan plus. They sent me a factory thermistor and talked me through the process. Below is a parts diagram for the CFX3 75DZ.
