My 2014 trd sport is at 180k and I'm looking to replace the leaf springs. I'm not looking to lift the truck. It's my daily driver and I do not offroad.

If I buy individual oem leaf springs, the cost is $1200+, but the 2005-2011 trucks had a tsb kit that's significantly cheaper. Will the tsb kit 04005-34404 work on my 2014? Thanks!

I'm also willing to go aftermarket, but have read negative things about general, Dayton, dorman leaf springs. Also the Deaver J66 have bad reviews from what I read.

"TSB springs" I thought were exactly what came on all of the 2012 to 2015 trucks.

Yes. All 2nd and 3rd gen leaf springs work between generations.

Why are you replacing the leaf pack?
    Hauling more stuff?
You have the older style leaf pack?
    They are sagging more?

Find someone selling their stock takeoffs. Should be quite a few on marketplace and remember there is common fitment for second and third Gen.

I sold my front and rear takeoffs for $100.

All the take offs are getting old now, I wouldnt recommend it unless they are dirt cheap. 2 years is a lot of wear on leaf springs.

I've had the sumo springs helper springs installed a long time ago and it looks like the truck is riding on top of them with no gap. It doesn't look like they're sagging, but the rear end doesnt feel great when hitting bumps at highway speeds. I swapped out my shocks for OR takeoffs about 20k ago. I'm actually going to replace them with some bilstein 6112 and 5100 rears. The OR shocks are too soft for me.

I've been looking for about 2 months now. With the 4th gens being out now, there are less people selling 3g take offs. Also, many take offs seem to have high mileage in my area.

I'm not sure. When I do a parts search on a dealer site with the kit number, it just says it's unsure if it will work with my VIN.

I would recommend removing the sumo springs. IF you are replacing with a pair of Toyota leafs.
The sumo springs are not meant to ride on the frame rail at (1) no load and (2) ride height.
the sumo springs were overtaking the shock and leaf spring during any compression.

When I replaced my leaf pack to a aftermarket kind it was 100% better. Sumo doesn’t engage unless I hit a hard bump or have a stupid amount of weight.

    +1 on billy 5100.

My 2013 came with the non-TSB leafs which have 3 leafs instead of 4 leafs on the updated springs. I was able to find 3rd gen takeoffs from a 2023 a few months ago so they do still exist but take a long time of scanning marketplace to find. The general spring HD leafs seem to be the closest to a stock replacement but it seems like the rear lift they bring is a lot higher than 1.5 inches for some folks.
