I wish I knew that the Tech 7s didnt need to be the stupid dry stars, they were way too expensive, then I saw the tech 7s were almost 60% the cost after I bought my ADV boots.

I still offroad with my Klim boots, but I really should have dirt bike boots.

    What do you use?

Ya that is fair but my skills ain't that good to be like pol tarres haha (PS idk how to spell his name!) but ya it would be perfect to do some light duty stuff so she can have fun with if she feels comfy with it.

The regular tech 7s look at a puddle and your feet are wet so take that for what its worth

Ya but they breathe, I hate being hot. Plus way cheaper with good protection.

My klims have a bit of ankle flex which isnt ideal for trails. But they stay dry.

The tech 7 toe box will bend 180 by hand almost. Theyre comfortable but i wouldnt count on them too much

I have the Forma Terrain TX. Haven't worn them much sent I left the Pacific NW, haven't had a reliable dirt bike down here. Up there, I really liked them, nice and stiff, but hinged. Great for trail riding, because with the hinge you can actually get off the bike and walk a little bit to get a picture of a waterfall or to a nice spot for a snack.

I must resist the urge to buy a bike now!! I could get the break in done before winter hits!

I still want them, but they were 760$CDN and my Klims were 550$

I can put a price on safety!

I am happy with the boots I have though, the klims have bigger tread for pushing bikes in the mud. They've done me well. I cant imagine actual dirt bike boots on a muddy hill. It would be pretty awful.

Can’t resist. I messaged the dealer in Oregon that has a black 25 xsr900 for $10,102 OTD no freight or set up fees. That’s $500 off MSRP plus the no set up or freight so I will save about 2k. Then I will just pay WA sales tax and license fees when I register it which will be about $1250. So $11,360 total. I will be driving down Wed morning to pick it up.
I did wait until the Harley sold!!

Placed my order for the front cowl. That will make the bike IMO.

Doubt the Tech 7’s are any stiffer, but they sure are comfortable! Pretty sure they protected me from some damage when I crashed the 110 the other day. Crashes hurt a lot more when you get older!

so im interested in stories from all those who have ridden in odd areas or have felt something odd or out of place?

last night me and the gf had a disagreement? tbh i had no clue what was going on! i was sick as a dog and stuck in bed all day! but that is all sorted and we are good. so not going into that stuff.

i decided to take a cruise on the bike at like 11pm ish. so pitch black out! just to get some cold air and think about what even she could be upset about?
well while i was ridding i found my self on this little country road in a pretty large city near me and thought well this is odd? so i kept ridding down it to just see where it went! because exploring why not! i get further down the road and i see on my maps that there is two stupid sharp curves that say to go at least 10mph on! they were not kidding they were sharp! i hit the first corner and boom farm fields all around like oh this is kinda nice late at night actually! i hit the second corner and there is a bright white dilapidated old barn shoved pretty far away from this house tucked into some trees. you can easily see it from the road idk if it was because i was tired or still sick af but i was drawn to stare at this barn doing idk 10mph? was like huh neat old creepy barn! i start getting closer and man every hair i got left on my head and neck stood tf up! idk why but i got some creepy vibes if that makes sense lmao. gunned the bike and took off lmao.

    upload_2025-9-15_8-8-47.png
i actually looked on google maps to find it! but this is the barn that creeped me out last night for some reason lol

so anyone else had anything like this or similar something kinda creepy or something that caught your attention for some odd reason?

no im not a ghost person or what ever you wanna call it!
