    Not oversharing...no worries.

Looks good. Gloss gets camera shy, photos rarely do it justice

Almost forgot pick ups came in yesterday, I'm going to attempt to use most of the hardware that came with it. I saw some reviews saying the pre drilled holes for the bridge are not like very typical, and probably wouldn't line up right without modifications.

It Ieally does! The wood grain looks awesome and the starburst finish is going to make it stand out. Excited to see it completed.

I got some fitment stuff to do still, the wiring harness was almost too short so those knobs are sitting there because there ain't much coming through the hole lol... And the table is almost cleaned off now so the Mrs should be getting in a better mood soon.

Yeah, just through a bass amp, it needs a little set up of course, it won't be long before it can really stretch its legs

i have a PRS finished in nitro, a handmade MIJ Jazzmaster untouched by CNC, a handful of MIK ltds, and a couple of MIJ ESPs and Ibanezes. they all play and sound great regardless of finish. the biggest difference i've noticed is electronics. anything with EMGs will sound like a gutiar with EMGs. good passive pickups color the tone in a good way and everything sounds amazing cranked through a Class-A tube amp but still sounds great through a modern high-gain head.

point being... there's too much awesome gear out there to nitpick about finish material, construction, or names on a headstock. buy a 4500$ LP Custom if you want, buy a 200$ baritone from AliExpress because it looks like fun.

just make music, or at the very least-- enjoy playing.
