So you gonna bitch because the Canucks did not sweep the hawks. However since you wanna get technical let's look at this. Torres has gotten in trouble already for his absolutely unsportsmanlike hits. So when he makes a hard hit it's gonna be called and it was not shoulder to shoulder like the other hit. My advice to you is to learn what a dirty hit is, watch them again and then watch the hawks make history tomo.

Actually I would be happy to knock of the Stanley Cup champs in 7 games , I never expected a sweep.

Both Torres' hit and Bickel's hits were penalties , but only one was called , I don't get your point .

 

Well they are not both penalties check them again. Bickel's hit is shoulder to shoulder. That's clean! The. Torres hit is to the head. Plus the Canucks were throwing checks left and right they were bound to get called. You can't argue these hits because they are so different. The Canucks were being smothered by chicagos offense and a great forcheck. And with their frustration came a bad hit by a player with a bad temper as well as a history.

That's what I thought. Setoguchi gets cross checked straight in the face for a 2 min minor fine, but then call the hit a minor too. Oh well.

 

There was an injury incurred which makes the major fairly easy to call , and the charge was at full speed from 45 feet .

 

It would have been a minor if he was already skating towards him but in this case he stopped and change his path directly at him. Good call in my book.

2.... The connection on Torres to seabrook was with Torres shoulder to seabrooks head
