RPB Question and fitment

I have a 11 TRD Sport DC short bed I just purchased yesterday. I am looking at getting 18X9 RBP(Rolling Big Power) 94R wheels. There are two I found for $270 a piece shipped. Both are 18X9, one has -25 and the other has 10 offset and both with a center bore of 78.10. I am looking for more of a "deep dish" look if I can get it, but still want to fit right and handle correctly. I am probably going to stick with 265 wheel size or at most 275.

Any help on which one -25 or +10 offset will best fit my needs will be greatly appreciated.

For a 9" wheel, +10 offset is 5.4" backspacing and -25 is 4.0" backspacing. If you are only planning o running 265s then the +10 will be fine.

 

So, either one will fit with no issues? And I thought that -25 offset and the 4.0" backspacing will give deeper looking rim and not stick out as far compared to the +10 offset with 5.4" backspacing?

No the 4" backspacing will stick out 1.4" inches more than the 5.4". Some have reported rubbing out the outer edge of the tire with 4.0 backspaced rims.

4.5" woud be ideal for either 265 or 285's, but the 5.4" is fine for the 265's you plan to run.

 

I agree that 4' backspacing will sitck out more but it will be a deeper dish rim correct? And would a spacer help and eliminate any chance or rubbing? I assume they make small spacers, 1/2 or 1 inch?

I think the lip of the rim is a fixed size and they just increase/decrease the thickness of the mounting point to change the backspacing...not positive though.

The kind of rubbing I was talking about (on the outer edge of the tire) would be made worse by a spacer, not better.

 

Gotcha! Funny thing is now I've found same rim 18X9 with -12 offset and 4.5 backspacing all four shipped for $1000. I think that will be perfect and run 265/65r18 like you are running.
