I'm gonna sell the Heep. Getting the Taco re-geared and ARB Airlockers installed, plus Kevin has a long list of things I have ordered from him. Only gonna get a few chances to wheel this year so I'm gonna take advantage. Getting PCSed to Alabama for :plane: school.

We will be staying at the Harlan County Campground which is right on the Putney side trailhead. HERE! It's as convenient as you can get for wheeling, however I will warn you that it's about a 15 min drive back to town from there to get to anything so bring food and fill up before you head out. I always camp and the last area on the left side going in. If you look on the website under the "grounds map" it's the one on the bottom right. Nice clearing up on the hill and is the most secluded of the camping spots. All it is though is a large clearing so we need to make sure and keep room for everyone up there.

And a note to the first one there..... I always camp by the tree on the left back towards the end of the clearing, there's a fire ring there to.

Also you can make reservations online if you wish, that's how I typically do it. They don't reserve actual "tent sites", they just guarantee that you have a space somewhere so it will be up to the first people there to save room up top for all of us.

Edit... I've already made my reservation but I'll give them a call today and see what they say about the big group coming and staying in the same spot.

    NOTE!!!!

Be aware that last time I was there the campground didn't accept credit cards!! So you will need to bring enough cash to pay for you camp site, trail pass and bring a few extra to chip in on firewood as well!!!!!!!!
