Used to do Timberwolf Peach but every one always called me a vag for it!
Plus I think its funny that people use that camel Snus crap! haha they think they are dippping its funny!

Now a days though its SO hard to get a buzz form it! But I always get a can and say ok this is the last one then I buy another one as soon as I get done with them!

Have been dipping for 27 years now with no ill effects thus far. I began long ago with this stuff called Hawkins that was real sweet. I later went to Gold River for maybe a year then found Skoal. I really enjoyed Skoal and way back when it was in a cardboard type can rather than the plastic style today.

Dipped Skoal for many years until they changed to a plastic can and for me it tasted totally different after that. The only one left in the cardboard style can was Copenhagen. I tried it and have used Copenhagen now for the last 15 years or so.

I am not even sure why I like the stuff however mostly on duty I have it handy and always when outdoors camping or fishing. Yes it is a nasty habit but none the less most of us here way down south use some type of chewing tobacco. I do know guys who tried it a few weeks and got mouth sores and gum line problems. Thankfully for me I must have stronger teeth and gums as I have never had the first sign of trouble.

I have never tried to quit however I do know one friend who did so after 20 years dipping. He used raisins stuffed in his lip as a substitute for maybe 2 weeks. He said it gave him a little taste and the feeling of having something between his lip and gums as well.....weird but it worked for him.

I hit the 21 day mark today. I still would love to have a pinch of Skoal, though.

Now I've tried just about every type of dip there is. Been dipping for over two year when I was in school for my job I dipped a tin to tin and a half a day. But now I rarely dip mostly because dip is so hard to come by out here in Afghan, at least at my exchange but by god they have Beech Nut and Levi Garrett!

I have been trying to quit, I have graduated from cope fine cut to cope long cut, to cope pouches. I am going to go cold turkey one of these days! I tried the snus and that tore my lips and gums up worse than cope ever did.

I finally quit! I definitely miss it tho. I work outside and always had the chance to dip. It's been hard but I'm still going strong.

Good luck quitting.. my dad and cousin (the two who kinda got me started) just quit cold turkey... my cousin uses that Smokey Mountain Herbal Chew (non-tobacco) when he craves a dip. I guess its just an oral fixation but he's gone 8 weeks and my dad has been going strong for almost 5 months

I guess i'm gonna be the next to quit

it's the only dip that will give you a sugar rush.
it is much cheaper here than i'm sure you're paying.
