Another one of those threads. I have not seen one that expresses this concern. I searched

My truck was bought used a month ago with 22k miles. Being that it is a 2007, and over the three year bumper-to-bumper warranty threshold, the mileage is irrelevant.

Which brings me to my point.

The rear leaf TSB (T-SB-0359-10) is dated December 21, 2010... Therefore the truck was out of warranty as soon as the TSB was posted.

There has to be 2005 to 2007 owners that have had the TSB done.

So my question is this: were you able to get your TSB done under warranty - free of charge - after complaining about the harshness when your truck is loaded?

I mean, the evidence is there. The TSB is dated. It shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
the TSB has been ongoing and been updated since 06-07, IIRC.

Blame the previous owners for not getting it done. It was up to them to complain. If you search this site you will see TSBs for this back when your truck was still under warranty.

Based on others comments, it is unlikely the dealership will make an exception for you.

Damn. I see that now. The TSB# I mentioned dated December 21, 2010 is an addendum.

    There goes my 'evidence'. :(

My chances of getting it done free are slim.
